Deanne
Miller is a watercolour artist from rural eastern Manitoba. She has
never studied art formally, though she enjoys painting as a hobby.
She has a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and works as an agriculture
college instructor and also runs a home business designing and publishing
websites. Deanne has also started teaching local watercolour classes
in the past few years.
As an
avid horseback rider, Deanne's favorite subjects are horses and Manitoba
landscapes. She has been commissioned to paint many animal portraits.
Deanne's paintings are exhibited regularly at Local Colour's annual
shows, and at the Mennonite Heritage Village in Steinbach, Manitoba.
