	Judy has long been involved in Winnipeg’s art community as an elementary school music teacher. Because she finds creative people stimulating, instructive and just great friends, she loves being part of the Local Colour Art Group. She especially enjoys Monday evening sketch nights and she is ready to pitch in whenever she can be of help. Judy’s other art associations include the Selkirk Community Arts Centre, the Assiniboine Artists’ Cooperative and the Manitoba Society of Artists. She is also the Winnipeg representative and hostess for Leading Edge Art Workshops. These three day sessions are now being held in our clubhouse at 180 Poplar Avenue. The next workshop will feature Jean Pederson on April 20, 21 and 22. Judy paints in a realistic style using watercolours and acrylics.
